You can: But beware, this is a chance the combination could really irritate your stomach. Make sure you take the motrin with food. And let your doctor know if you are having stomach pain or nausea.

Avoid: Methylprednisolone and Motrin (ibuprofen) are anti inflammatory medications. Taking the two together can increase risk of side effects including gastritis. If you need a pain medication when on methylprednisolone then take acetaminophen. Do not ever take more than the recommended dose of any medication.
