Avoid: Methylprednisolone and Motrin (ibuprofen) are anti inflammatory medications. Taking the two together can increase risk of side effects including gastritis. If you need a pain medication when on methylprednisolone then take acetaminophen. Do not ever take more than the recommended dose of any medication.
