Which has lesser side effects for short term use for inflammation (1 week). oral steroids like prednisolone/medrol or nsaid like ibuprofen/naproxen?

Nsaid: Oral steroids carry a cumulative effect and have serious long term side effects. Nsaids are good for short spurts.

Not equal: Though the risk of serious side-effects occurring within a week is low for both steroids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaids), they are not equal in strength. Steroids are more powerful ani-inflammatory rx than nsaids.
