Is lower back pain on one side typically a sign of chlamydia?

Not by itself: If it includes abdominal pain on the same side, conceivably it could be pelvic inflammatory disease (PID, fallopian tube infection) caused by chlamydia (or gonorrhea). But back pain by itself doesn't suggest chlamydia or any other STD. However, if you are at risk (new partner, multiple partners, etc), maybe it's time for a routine STD check-up, which would include chlamydia and gonorrhea testing.

Yes!: Chlamydial infection can trigger inflammation of the sacroilliac joint!
