Tonsillectomy : It depends on the reason you are having them out. First of all, no matter what, it is painful to recover from the surgery. If it was done for snoring/ sleep apnea, hopefully this condition will improve. If it was done for recurrent tonsillitis, then you shouldn't get tonsillitis or strep throat anymore.
