See below: There is no such thing as a negative blood type. I think you mean the rhesus factor is negative, as in A- vs. A+. The negative doesn't mean much except when the father of a developing fetus is positive and the mother is negative. On a subsequent pregnancy, it can cause problems for the fetus but this is prevented with a medicine called Rhogam.
