A member asked:

How will my baby's taste buds develop?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

At birth: Babies are born with the ability to "taste". Newborns have a preference for sweet substances from birth. Breast milk also exposes babies to different tastes in the first few months, depending on mom's diet. After six months, baby's are exposed to many new tastes and will often show preferences.
