What happens to your pet when you move to assisted living?

See below: Most places accept cats. You would have to ask the admission about the pet rule. Of all of my patients who moved into alf and have pets other than cats, majority are adjusting well and family/friends bring pets to loved one for visits. Not an easy one but take lots of times and efforts to get well with loved ones.
