Kidney tests: You can have a simple urine analysis at a lab which will show if you have any protein, blood or bacteria in it. Your urine should not have any of those things in it. A simple blood test will tell you what your blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and what your creatinine is. A nephrologist will be able to discuss them and their implications on your health with you. Good luck.
