What might cause bloodshot eyes with small cyst-like bump?

Cyst on eye?: If what you describe is truly cystic (clear bleb), the bleb may result from an included foreign body. The elevated area of the conjunctiva can dry out and become inflamed. If what you are describing is a solid elevation nasally of temporally to the colored iris, you may be describing a pingueculum. This is an UV damage area and can result in inflammation. Get an exam.
