Mostly leukemias...: ...are treated with a combination of chemotherapies. Certain leukemias (CML, Ph+ALL) respond to treatment of tyrosine kinase enzyme inhibitors like imatinib. One type of AML (M3 promyelocytic leukemia) responds to Retinoic Acid (a form of vitamin A) and Arsenic Trioxide.
