Osteoarthritis, which is very common for example in the knees can be linked to obesity and part of the recommendations is weight loss/exercise for this. Rheumatoid arthritis needs to be started on specific medications called DMARD's and gout for example another type of arthritis can be treated with NSAID's, colchicine, prednisone and/or others.
