Variable: The modern treatment for myeloma has improved the survival of those who have it, considerably, doubling it up from 3.5 years to 7 years(Average). Clearly some patients can live for 10 years and some even longer. The longest survivor that I have heard/read about lived 20 years. We are now expecting some cures too!!!.
