On my right knuckle, i have a very dry, red skin and it's itchy and rough, what could it be? i also have it on my left knuckle but it is not as bad

Could be many: things including but not limited to lichen simplex chronicus. Try covering it with a bandaid every day after putting on some aquaphor, if it gets better, then continue but if not it needs to be seen by dermatologist
