There is no one: Universal thyroid point which cures all. The points chosen to be treated depend on the thyroid problem that you have like hypothyroidism versus hyperthyroidism.

A/W Dr. Southard: Would not use "one" point to address thyroid issues. There are a variety of protocols that an acupuncturist may use: http://www.acupuncturetoday.com/mpacms/at/article.php?id=27779 or http://www.yinyanghouse.com/forum/acupuncture-and-herbal-medicine-thyroid-problem-hypothyroidism-hyperthyroidism. I recommend use of standard medical assessment before looking to adjunct tx with acupuncture.
