A member asked:

What is psuedomonas syringae? what infections does it cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pseudomonas syringae: This is a germ that infects plants. In fact, it can infect a wide range of species. You've probably seen it in the grocery store or in your fridge- such as spots on a tomato. There shouldn't be a concern about human disease here, that's Pseudomonas aeruginosa that's a real problem for us. Infectious disease docs should have more answers if you still have Qs.
