A member asked:

What is prostatomegaly with central calcification?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BPH: this sounds like a radiologist describing an enlarged prostate. This is usually due to benign prostatic hyperplasia of which is very very common. The calcifications in the prostate have no particular risk or clinical significance and are often seen on ultrasound and CAT scan of the pelvis.
