Head/neck: ENT is also called head and neck surgery. During the first visit, the ENT doc will take a complete history of you chief complaint. He/she will perform a complete head and neck exam including nose, ears, throat, vocal cords. Often a hearing test. often endoscopy of nose or throat. Xrays may be done.
