Benign tumor: The lymphangioendothelioma is a benign single macular/papular hemangiomatous or pigmented lesion which on presentation ranges in size from 0.3 cm to 10 cm There are no concomitant vascular anomalies nor signs of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. The latter is associated with the malignant form induced via the Herpes 8 virus. The benign form may also be viral in origin.
