A member asked:

What type of.headache is a tension headache? what causes it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tension headache: A tension headache feels like pressure, like a band around the head, or discomfort at the top of the neck. It is long-lasting, continuous, and it may last for many days. It is sometimes worse with movement of the head. It is especially common in people who are under stress, who work with their head flexed forward (such as computer monitor users). Non-medical treatment is available.
