A member asked:

What is intracranial pressure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pressure on brain: Intracranial pressure relates to the contents of the skull, including brain, spinal fluid and blood. The pressure will vary with posture and an increase in any of the contents, such as brain swelling from trauma, bleeding or an excessive build up of spinal fluid or blockage in the normal path from formation to exit from the skull.
