Potent herbs: This can elevate the mood much like a synthetic selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, and some say it's a good adjunct to the process of learning how to maintain a happy, productive attitude through insight and practice. It's also likely to sensitize your skin to sunlight and may make your hands tingly. Always let your physicain know if you take it.

The most important first question is why are you wanting to take it? This is a potent herb with likely the most potential herb-drug interactions of all herbals, so it should really be taken cautiously if you are on any prescription meds. It is touted as an antidepressant and has data supporting that use. However to an herbalist it is actually an immune modulator. Do let you doc know if you take it
