What can you do when you're 77, have lived alone for thirty years and discovered you have alzheimer's disease?

Start planning now!: Assuming Alzheimer's disease is diagnosed at an early stage, start making plans if you still have capacity for medical, legal & financial decision making. Figure where you want live, who's going to take care of you, whether you want artificial life support etc. If patient no longer has capacity to make decisions, then closest relative will need to assume responsibility w/medico-legal assistance.
