Doubtful: Dr oz claims a lot of things, and it would be nice if our celebrity doctor were correct, but he plays to the audience and says what folks wish to hear. Alzheimer's disease is really very complex, and we are as far away now as we were 10 years ago! hope this is not correct, but see no breakthrough on the horizon. My opinion only, and maybe other docs see it differently.

Hardly: Optimistic estimates like this have been made for the the past 20 years and we are not any closer to effective treatment. The current theory, focusing on amyloid protein, may be wrong and the transgenic mouse model might not be a good model for most common form of alzheimer's disease.
