Shave or surgical: Moles can be removed effectively by being shaved with use of a device such as a hyfrecator for further ablation. Suspicious lesions should always be biopsied before being removed in this manner. Larger moles may be effectively removed by surgical excision also. There are no effective over the counter products or creams/ointments that safely and effectively remove moles.
