What is a fibroid cytoma tumor?

Soft tissue tumor: Fibrous histiocytoma or Dermatofibromas are hard solitary slow-growing lesions that may appear in a variety of colours, usually brownish to tan. They are often elevated or pedunculated. Some believe that dermatofibromas form as a reaction to previous skin injuries. They are composed of disordered collagen laid down by fibroblasts The malignant variety (MFH), a type of sarcoma, is a malignant neoplasm of uncertain origin that arises both in soft tissue and bone. This lesion is rich in histiocytes with a storiform growth pattern and is now considered the most common soft tissue sarcoma in adults.
