What happens if you take too many prozac (fluoxetine) and metformin?

Concern: If you take too much Metformin, you may develop low blood sugar.

OvedoseSerious: Without knowing how many is too many it is overdosing and can be dangerous for you.Youcan end up in Hospital and depending on the numbers may cause serious complications and even death

Overdose: An overdose of prozac (fluoxetine) ( or any SSRI for that matter) can lead to an acute serotonin syndrome. An overdose of metformin can cause lactic acidosis, but in general one has to take quite a few to produce toxicity. I am unaware of any significant interaction between the two meds.
