A number of causes: Bad breath or Halitosis maybe caused by the food eaten like garlic. It can be caused bypoor oral hygiene and the food remaining between teeth, around the gums and on the tongue. Smoking and/or chewing tobacco is another cause. Other health related causes might be gum disease, dry mouth, oral yeast infection. Sinus infection, pneumonia, post nasal drip, diabetes, chronic acid and some medications.
