Vaginal discharge: Leukorrhea is not a disease. It is excess vaginal discharge. Most often, it is a symptom of high estrogen (physiologic) such as pregnancy. It could also be from an inflammatory condition of vagina or cervix. In cases where it is yellow/green or malodorous, you would need to see a doctor since it could be a sign of several disease processes, such as a common bacterial infection or an STI.
