What can i do when my doctor and radiologist disagree?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Gerald Mandell answered

Specializes in Nuclear Medicine

Another opinion: If it is major disagreement the best thing is to find physician who specializes in particular problem for a third opinion. Some radiologic interpretations are gray, meaning not black and whiteGray diagnoses can represent more than one thing. For example consolidation in lung could be pneumonia, volume loss, or localized hemorrhage.Clinical information has to be combined with imaging for diagnosis.
