What can cause tightness in chest, throat and arms (not pneumonia)?

Many things: The first and most important item to check out is the heart. If these symptoms are not cardiac in origin then things like GE reflux or acid reflux can cause symptoms. In the chest things like asthma and pneumonia can so I would go see your doctor as soon as possible.
