This is steatorrhea.: People with pancreatic cancer (and other diseases of the pancreas) are unable to mix enzymes normally made in the pancreas with the food in the small bowel. This prevents the food from being digested and absorbed normally, leading to malnutrition and stinky feces. A good palliative for this is to take prescribed pancreatic enzymes orally with the food. That has no side effects and much benefit.
