Bugs and boils: MRSA stands for Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, an increasingly common bacteria that can cause different clinical conditions from boils or skin abscesses to blood-borne life threatening infections. Boils,on the other hand, can be caused by bacteria other than MRSA.
