In conversion disorder, the psychological cause is manifested physically. In dissociative disorders, there is an escape from reality, a disconnection and a lack of continuity between thoughts, surroundings, memories, and actions. Explore psychological conflict/trauma in both; acquiring adaptive coping skills through psychotherapy, support of other professionals and close relations is necessary.
