Per CDC- “Smallpox vaccine, cidofovir, ST-246, & vaccinia immune globulin (VIG) can be used to control a monkeypox outbreak.” Only the small pox vaccine has had fairly good studies for efficacy. There is no specific medication for treatment of Monkeypox. Check out: https://www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/monkeypox/clinicians/treatment.
