It depends: The treatment for mesothelioma varies widely, and always should be tailored to the individual patient. Chemotherapy usually plays a role, and has good evidence that it prolongs life. Surgery and radiation may play a role as well, and the best care is delivered in a multidisciplinary center with extensive experience treating patients with mesothelioma.
