I hope its small: Most small, clean lip lacerations need no intervention, especially inside the lip. Lacerations of the outside are more likely to need suturing especially if they cross the border of the lip into surrounding skin. If in doubt check with an urgent care center. They may also recommend a tetanus booster. If caused by teeth a dentist may need to inspect for broken teeth.
