What is renal autotransplant and how does it relate to an ileostomy reversal?

Here are some ...: Organ auto-transplant is to move a locally damaged organ - intentionally or unintentionally - to a new site so such organ will / may continue to survive & function. For kidneys, such need usually takes place for insufficient ureter or artery. How is that related with ileostomy reversal? It would be most likely to make the shortened ureter to function.
