Hypothyroid: That number is NOT Too high. It simply means your brain is producing a Thyroid Stimulating hormone (TSH) in an attempt to regulate your thyroid./ You simply need to be followed regularly by your Doctor and have your medication adjusted so the TSH that can monitor your progress comes down to normal ranges. best wishes.

TSH, I assume: Hi. The only thing that would make sense from your description is that your TSH is 30.48. It's not dangerous to you, but you probably aren't feeling too perky. Hypothyroidism very seldom kills people. I must assume that whatever doc ordered the test has prescribed you thyroid hormone. When you start thyroid hormone, it takes weeks to get to stable equilibrium in your body, so be patient. Good luck

Hypothyroid: Your TSH is rather high at 30+. Typical range is about 0.4-4.0. Your result is consistent with hypothyroidism which often causes a range of symptoms including fatigue, weight gain, dry skin and other problems. It is rarely dangerous, but should be treated, especially if pregnant. Please see your PCP for treatment. If complicated, some people will see an endocrinologist.
