Epistaxis: Sinus infections can cause nose bleeding, use a saline nasal spray to alleviate it. Also if your nasal passages feel dry, use a saline gel, both are over the counter.

Epistaxis: nose bleed has many reasons to happen like picking the nose, very dry air in the room, allergic rhinitis, infection of the upper airways, or bleeding disorders. Rarely it is due to other rare systemic diseases that are associated with other symptoms .

Nose bleeds: Likely from your URI and dry mucus membranes, unlikely from RX. NSAID such as OTC ibuprofen, naproxen & aspirin also can contribute to bleeding. Use a saline OTC nose spray and a cool air humidifier
