Basically,...: Clonazepam is a Benzodiazepine. Benzodiazepines enhance the effect of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the GABAA receptor, resulting in sedative, hypnotic (sleep-inducing), anxiolytic (anti-anxiety), anticonvulsant, and muscle relaxant properties, and by nature have Addicting potential. Sertraline is not addicting in the SSRI class, where Selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors or serotonin-specific reuptake inhibitor are a class of compounds typically used as antidepressants in the treatment of major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders.
