Normal: Hi. LH 1.9 is normal in an adult male. High (above normal) LH is seen in primary testicular failure (Klinefelter's, mumps orchitis, some chemotherapies, etc). Low LH is seen in men taking high dose testosterone/anabolic steroids and in central hypogonadism (e.g., Kallman's syndrome). The most common idiopathic hypogonadism we see in adult men has low testosterone and inappropriately normal LH, FSH
