See doctor: i know you said you can't get to a doctor, but I don't know why that is. You really should be seen by an oral maxillofacial specialist in my opinion.

Perhaps: Sometimes. A :torn" ligament is vague. Since these problems can be complicated, it might be worth your while to see a TMJ expert.
