Sharp pains?: Vague, but how long have you been having this discomfort, how long does it last, severity, is there anything that triggers the symptoms? Need a history and exam.

More history, physical examination and possibly some testing is needed to make a diagnosis and your doctor can help you with that. Some causes can turn out to be serious and require immediate medical attention. If symptoms are worsening please visit the ER.
