5-HTP?: 5-HTP = 5-hydroxytryptophan: Small amounts are converted to serotonin.Nortriptyline already increases serotonin between nerves in the brain. OTC 5HTP is unregulated, so one cannot predict how accurate 5-HTP label is. Because already on med that increases serotonin, doubt much effect. Recommend asking doc - med adjustment, if safe, may be all that's needed.See tips on Sleep Hygiene,Sleeping Better.
