Can i take natural sleeping tablets containing 5-hbt with nortriptyline? i'm on 60mg. i take my notriptyline at night time.

5-HTP?: 5-HTP = 5-hydroxytryptophan: Small amounts are converted to serotonin.Nortriptyline already increases serotonin between nerves in the brain. OTC 5HTP is unregulated, so one cannot predict how accurate 5-HTP label is. Because already on med that increases serotonin, doubt much effect.
