Chronic disease?: Hi. Do you have a chronic inflammatory disease? Anemia with high iron may be the anemia of chronic disease, an anemia where iron is present but not utilized well. You may want to discuss this possibility with your doc, and get a referral to a hematologist, if indicated. Good luck!
