Vicodin: after such a long time on this medication you have withdrawal symptoms when you go off of it. Narcotics typically will have this effect. Not knowing why you are on this medication it is hard to give you advice on going off. I recommend you work with your prescribing doctor to wean off the medication. He or she can help you do this with minimal side effects.

Withdrawal?: Vicodin is an opiod (narcotic) pain reliever. Sudden reductions in dose can cause withdrawal. Anxiety is one of the symptoms of withdrawal. Discuss with your doctor whether you should contine opioid therapy, and if so whether a longer acting agent might be preferable for young
