Counseling...: I understand that based on what you are experiencing it is time to see a therapist or a psychologist. The symptoms you are presenting sound a lot like depression which could definitely happen after the loss of a loved one. Therapy will help you deal with your symptoms and if not enough you could also be referred for medication in this case. You can be treated for this and feel better. Best wishes

Depression: You appear to have an ongoing reactive depression. usually bereavement anxiety and depression dissipates over time, but 4 years is quite long, so you need to see a specialist to get treated professionally. You are not alone as this is very common. Therapy and medications can both be effective. Do please see the Psychiatrist who specializes in this condition. Get well soon.
