Abdominal aorta: The hard area that pulsates in your abdomen is the abdominal aorta, the largest blood vessel in your body. In slender people it can be felt easily. I'm unsure what may be causing the nausea, vomiting and lightheadedness. May be a virus. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
