Generally none: Cortical blindness results from failure of the brain interconnections to the visual cortex to develop, or damage directly to the cortex from injury and vascular catastrophe. No treatment is possible. Such persons should be entered into programs for the blind and poorly sighted to develop alternate means of coping.
