Bump on thigh: May be cyst like ganglion cyst, or sebaceous cyst , lymph node, lipoma, abscess. If red inflamed painful seek attention today .if not seek attention over next week

Lump: What you are describing sounds like a lipoma which would be a benign/harmless lump. However, it could be something else. You should have it evaluated. Take care!
